IFS is pleased to announce a new pilot program. In this program, all types of military payments, including VA, are eligible. Furthermore, credit is NOT an issue! The program is flexible - you may sell as little as 3 years or as much as 10 years can be sold.
We are very excited about this program and will be closely monitoring it's success over the next few months. We hope it will be a huge success with our pensioners who need usable cash now. If you've been waiting to sell a portion of your military or VA payments, give us a shout right away and let's see what we can do for you today!
- Must be receiving a minimum of $550 per month.
- Must be able to secure life insurance. (Our underwriter will assist you with this)

WE'RE HERE TO HELP YOU!
UPDATE 2008 - NO VA!
If you are a veteran with VA Disability, please be aware that, right now, VA payments cannot be sold. Only military income streams such as Dept. of Defense Retirement, Voluntary Separation Incentives, etc can be sold at this time.
SPECIAL PROGRAM FOR MILITARY PAYMENTS -
You may be able to turn a portion of your military payments into a lumpsum of cash. A special program has been developed to do just that. Here's the basic model:
Sell a minimum of $400 per month for a term of 96 months. Depending on how much you want to sell, you may need to have other income, such as a job, other retirement, etc. Decent credit is also important for this program. You will need a FICO score of around 580 or better. (If you need help with your FICO score, look below for some resources.) You will also need life insurance. (Don't worry - our underwriter will help you secure this.)
NOTE: At this time, there is only one underwriter funding these transactions. If you have applied to any other funder in the past 12 months, and your application was denied, please do not apply again for at least 12 months, and then only if your situation has improved.
SPOUSAL BENEFITS -
In many cases, spousal benefits from military pensions can be sold. Contact us for more information about this program.
JULY 2004 - IMPORTANT UPDATE ON VA DISABILITY FUNDING
Veterans who are receiving VA Disability are in for some bad news. The Department of Defense has made some changes that affect disabled veterans and their ability to convert their VA Disability payments into cash.
New Federal Legislation, HR 2297, was recently passed by both houses of Congress and was signed into law by the President. This legislation effectively prohibits pensioners from selling their V.A. pension streams. This is true if all or most of your military income comes from VA Disability.
Due to these changes, a veteran whose military income comes solely from VA cannot sell their payments. However, at this point in time, a veteran MAY be able to sell their payments IF the VA Disability portion comprises no more then 50% of your total military income. If that sounds confusing, it is.
To simplify, try figuring it this way. If you are presently receiving military payments totalling $1,200 per month, and only $300 of this comes from VA Disability payments, you may still be eligible to sell. The remaining must be regular military retirement or DOD / VSI income.
Of course, all other eligibility criteria, such as reasonable credit*, and another form of income, still applies. See below for more information.
At Integrity Funding Sources, we are commited to helping those veterans who have given so much for us. To that end, we will continue to seek out ways to provide these financial services for our veterans and their families as long as the law allows it.
MAY 1999 -
ANNOUNCING A NEW PROGRAM
Integrity Funding Sources is please to announce that we now have funding for veterans!
As of May 1999, an alliance has been formed to provide funding for military retirements, veterans disability benefits (VA disability), and voluntary separation incentives (VSI's). This is great news for veterans who have been turned down when trying to sell their military-based income streams.
Integrity Funding Sources is extremely happy to be able to offer this service to veterans and their families. We know this is a service that has been sorely needed and we look forward to providing this new resource to you, our valued clients! If you are a veteran and have been anxious to sell your military retirement, VA disability, or voluntary separation incentive payments...
Now Is The Time ---This Is The Place!
To participate in this program, you must meet the following criteria:
- You must be receiving a minimum of $400 dollars per month from your military income stream. (In the case of annual VSI payments, you must be receiving at least $5,000 per year.)
- You must have been discharged from the service for a minimum of 6 months and have made a proven successful transition to civilian life.
- You must be presently employed or have other income sufficient to meet your monthly expenses without these payments.
- Your credit must be good.*
If you meet these requirements, you may be able to convert your payments into a lump sum of cash. Our funder purchases these types of payments in an 8-year block, and will evaluate each submission on a case-by-case basis. When you call, please have your Retiree Account Statement (RAF) and related documents available, so that a solid quote may be secured for you. Once your information is received, we should have an offer for you in 24 - 48 hours.
To receive a free quote on your payments, simply go to our Get a Quote page. Fill out the information requested and we will get a quote to you. Or, should you want to talk to us personally, you may call us at 1-855-5FUNDME.
*Credit for this program must be good, but does not have to be perfect. A minimum 600 FICO score is required. The underwriter will evaluate your credit history and other factors to determine eligibility for the program.
